CSR Activities

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a self-regulating business model that helps a company be socially accountable—to itself, its stakeholders, and the public.

Our Social
Responsibility

We at STEPS Sourcing take this responsibility very seriously and this starts with our employees. Many of our employee initiatives are trend-setting and has earned us the respect of our peers, customers and service providers.

Building toilets for School

Steps Sourcing India Pvt Ltd has contributed towards building a toilet block for T.A. Ramalingam Chettiar Higher Secondary School, a government-aided school within the Coimbatore corporation limits. The school educates about 600 students, both boys and girls, from grades 6 to 12, many of whom come from underprivileged backgrounds. The school management approached us for help in constructing a new toilet block for the students.

As one of the founding principles of our company is to give back to society, our management came forward to support this cause. The newly constructed toilet block ensures that the students now have access to clean, safe, and hygienic facilities. This contribution not only promotes health and well-being but also provides a better environment for learning.

By supporting this initiative, we aim to create a more dignified and inclusive atmosphere for all students, especially girls, helping them focus on their education without the challenges posed by inadequate sanitation. This project exemplifies our commitment to social responsibility and community development, fostering positive change in the lives of the students and the school.

Steps Sourcing India Pvt Ltd’s Contribution to Swakshatra Children’s Charity At Steps Sourcing India Pvt Ltd, we believe in making a positive impact in the communities we serve. We are committed to supporting initiatives that empower and uplift vulnerable children. Recently, we have contributed INR 100,000 to Swakshatra Children’s Charity, an organization run by Swakshatra NGO, which was founded and operated by retired Military officers in Bangalore India.

They are dedicated to providing education, healthcare, and a nurturing environment to underprivileged children across the region.
Through this contribution, we aim to create meaningful change in the lives of these children, enabling them to access better opportunities and a brighter future.

At Steps Sourcing India Pvt Ltd, corporate social responsibility is ingrained in our core values, and we remain dedicated to continuing our support for causes that make a difference in the lives of those in need.

STEPS and JD Sports (a leading sports retailer in the United Kingdom) have joined together over the years in helping  “UdavumKarangal” an orphanage & “Sangamam” a special needs school for physically and mentally challenged children in Coimbatore, through donating 5000 UK pounds and gift boxes every year.

Further, we have sponsored “Arc Foundation India” in setting up “Dr. Kalams Library” in selected villages that could benefit wider range of underprivileged community children, as we believe one good book is equal to 10 good teachers.
